I'm an experienced screenwriter and freelance script editor offering script editing services to writers at any stage of their career.
I wrote the Irish feature film Double Blind which had a cinema release in Feb 2024 and is nominated for 11 IFTAs, including Best Film and Best Script. Before that my short film Gridlock won over 50 festival awards worldwide and was longlisted for the 2018 Oscars.

I'm a working screenwriter who has written award winning shorts and had a produced feature released in cinemas, all in the thriller and horror genres.
My short film Gridlock played hundreds of festivals around the world and has won over 50 awards, including at Cork, Foyle, DC Shorts, Savannah, and a Young Director Award at Cannes. It was nominated for an IFTA for best short and longlisted for the 2018 Oscars in best short category.
My first feature Double Blind was developed and funded by Screen Ireland and had it's cinema release in Feb 2024. It has been nominated for 11 IFTAs including Best Film and Best Script.
I have over a decade of experience and success in the Irish film industry and can help writers who are starting out and looking for guidance or help with their screenplay.
I can read projects at any stage of development, and offer in depth advice, analysis, and guidance. I will read shorts as well as features, and can offer help to writers on how a short can lead to a first feature.
I'm a veteran of the Screen Ireland development process and have experienced all levels of development. I'm also a former reader for Screen Ireland, so I know what's expected in a development submission and what the common pitfalls are.

Screenplay Coverage
I will read the script/treatment and write one page of notes on project, covering all the main aspects of the project: plot, character, theme, tone, potential audience and the story's strengths and weaknesses.
Pricing:
Feature Screenplay (80-140pg): €200
Short Screenplay (20pg or under): €150
Treatment (10pg or under): €100
In Depth Notes
Will read the script/treatment and provide 5 pages of detailed notes on the project, covering all the essential elements but in greater depth and giving advice on what could be improved and guidance for future drafts.

Short Screenplay (20pg or under): €300
Treatment (10pg or under): €250
Zoom Call Discussion
Will read the script/treatment and then be available for a one hour call on zoom in which we can have an depth discussion on all aspects of the project and I'll be happy to answer any questions you have as well as give any advice that I can.
